Clae Works is a small clay community on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for focused makers — a place to create, refine, and grow.

With limited memberships, the studio remains spacious, well-resourced, and supportive, allowing space for both independent work and creative experimentation. Because we’re small, we can also work closely with members to explore ideas, techniques, and firing processes that go beyond the usual studio approach.

Membership includes:

• Unlimited use of the studio 7 days a week from 6am-11pm
• Your own private 1.5m x 400mm shelf plus space for your reclaim, personal glaze, slip, moulds
• Glaze lab & raw materials
• Free use of 28+ studio glazes
• Biweekly support sessions
• 10% off all Classes, Workshops, Courses and Private Events.
• $5 per kg for bisque, $8 per kilo for glaze firing
• Lustre firings, saggar firings, raku firings coming soon
• Access to slab roller, extruder, moulds
• Plus access to dedicated retail space and in-house markets to showcase and sell your work throughout the year.
  

Membership is $55 per week & $49 per week for students (billed fortnightly). No lock-in contracts.

Members should be able to work independently, as membership does not include instruction.
