Beginner Wheel Level 2 - Wed Night - 6 Weeks - Starts Apr 22
Beginner Level 2 Wheel Course – Wednesday Nights 6–8pm (6 Weeks)
This six-week course is designed for those who’ve completed a beginner course and want to develop more advanced wheel skills. We focus on refining forms such as mugs, plates and handled pieces while building confidence through repetition and guided practice.
Limited to just four students to ensure individual attention and a supportive, focused learning environment.
Participants receive up to 2 hours of free Open Studio access per week to practice and continue developing their skills outside class time.
Week 1: Recap throwing basics + mugs
Week 2: Trimming, pulling handles and attaching
Week 3: Plates and refining form
Week 4: Advanced trimming + surface refinement
Week 5: Personal projects & skill refinement — work on larger forms, lidded pieces, or refine techniques with guided feedback.
Week 6: Glazing — techniques for an even, perfect finish.
You’ll complete approximately 6-8 pieces that will be fired and ready for collection 2–4 weeks after the course.
Good to Know:
- Bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy
- Tools and clay are provided
- Course price includes glazing and firing of final pieces
