Beginner Level 2 Wheel Course – Wednesday Nights 6–8pm (6 Weeks)
This six-week course is designed for those who’ve completed a beginner course and want to develop more advanced wheel skills. We focus on refining forms such as mugs, plates and handled pieces while building confidence through repetition and guided practice.
Limited to just four students to ensure individual attention and a supportive, focused learning environment.
Participants receive up to 2 hours of free Open Studio access per week during open studio hours (10am-4pm weekdays) to practice and continue developing their skills outside class time.
Week 1 June 17: Recap throwing basics + mugs/plates
Week 2 June 24: Throwing mugs/plates/larger bowls
Week 3 July 1: Trimming & pulling handles
Week 4 July 15: Personal projects with guided feedback
Week 5 July 22: Trimming
Week 6 July 29: Glazing — techniques for an even, perfect finish.
You’ll complete approximately 6-8 pieces that will be fired and ready for collection 2–4 weeks after the course.
Good to Know:
- Bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy
- Tools and clay are provided
- Course price includes glazing and firing of final pieces
