Pottery Events & Parties

Celebrate your next birthday, team event, hens party or special occasion with a private clay workshop at Clae Works. We host private events for groups of 5–25 people, with each workshop tailored to suit your occasion and group size.

Our 2-hour private events are led by an experienced teaching artist and include one finished piece per person, professionally glazed and fired for collection approximately 2–4 weeks later. Additional pieces can be fired for $15 each.

Bring your own drinks, cake or decorations and make the space your own—we'll provide the clay, tools and guidance.

Wheel Throwing or Hand Building?

Private wheel throwing events are available for groups of up to 5 people. For larger groups, we offer hand building workshops, allowing everyone to participate comfortably.

Booking Your Event

A $150 deposit is required to secure your booking. Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send a short event questionnaire to collect details such as:

• Estimated guest numbers
• Preferred workshop type (wheel throwing or hand building)
• Age group
• Special requests or accessibility requirements

The remaining balance is payable one week prior to your event.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to change your date, we are happy to reschedule your booking with at least 72 hours' notice.
